The Jackson Transitional Housing Center Inc. (JTHC) is a licensed Non-Denominational Christian community comprehensive wellness center dedicated to meeting the emotional, spiritual, and financial needs of various diverse women. JTHC is located in Metro Detroit and provides housing for up to 25 displaced women ages 18 and older. Our programs provide women throughout the community with the opportunity to access support services that will enable them to build a better tomorrow for themselves.
JTHC provides Non-Denominational Christian counseling, support and housing for women in need. JTHC is committed to ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents throughout their spiritual journey. Our residents have access to 24-hour advocacy support, resources and Non-Denominational religious counseling. JTHC will allow women to remain residents of the center for a period up to 12 months. The length of stay is specific to each client, based on established intake procedures and needs assessments.
JTHC offers services through community partnerships and collaborations, such as mental health treatment, transportation, educational advancement, spiritual enlightenment, safe housing and job placement.
JTHC is a registered 501(C)3 non-profit organization and is licensed with the State of Michigan. JTHC's overall organizational goal is to ensure our residents exit the program with increased income/opportunities, permanent housing, spiritual enlightenment and the skills needed to successfully sustain a productive lifestyle.
