The Jackson Transitional Housing Center Inc. (JTHC) is a licensed community comprehensive wellness center with the goal to meet the emotional, spiritual, and financial needs of various diverse women. JTHC is located in Metro Detroit which provides 25 beds to women ages 18 and older who have been displaced. Our program provides women, throughout the State of Michigan, the opportunity to access services that will enable them to rebuild a better tomorrow for themselves.
JTHC provides temporary contingency housing for women, ensuring a safe and clean environment. Our residents have access to 24-hour advocacy support and resources. JTHC will allow women to remain residents of the center for a period up to 12 months. The length of stay is specific to each client, based on established intake procedures and needs assessments.
JTHC offers services through community partnerships and collaborations, such as mental health treatment, transportation, educational advancement, and job placement.
JTHC is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization and is licensed with the State of Michigan. JTHC's overall organizational goal is to assure our clients exit the programs with increased income, permanent housing, and the skills needed to successfully sustain a productive lifestyle.
JTHC is requesting financial support that will assist in increasing self-sufficiency and breaking down barriers that would impede their growth.
